The first thing you should do is watch the video episode in the screen above. Just click it and it will load up for you. Leave a reply and like - you'll learn a lot about this mazing SUV. Hybrids are here to stay and in the episode, we share how the hybrid system works.

As a matter of fact, we continue to love every model we have tested in the #Hyundai lineup. Now its time to test drive the Sante Fe Hybrid, which is in the spotlight for this episode. The Santa Fe Hybrid is an all-around good SUV. It offers conventional and plug-in-hybrid powertrains, both of which provide strong acceleration. Neither gets great mpg ratings by hybrid standards, but both are fuel-efficient compared to nonhybrid SUVs. That's good for this spacious SUV.

Considering this a the TEST DRIVE, with #TonyLesesne behind the wheel, there is a big focus around performance. We were impressed in that category as well. The Santa Fe Hybrid is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter I-4 engine paired with an electric motor, which together produce 226 hp. That's sent through a six-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels via standard all-wheel drive, which enables a zero-to-60-mph time of 8.2 seconds.

The interior is simply gorgeous. Its more upscale than I expected and its design is top notch. athe interior tech is impressive as well.

Some have asked what the difference is between the hybrid and the plug-in hybrind. The key difference between the new Santa Fe Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid is the need to plug-in to charge. A 13.8kWh high-power lithium-ion battery features in the PHEV version, larger than the 1.49kWh in the HEV, which enables the all-electric range. www.autofocusworld.com @AutoFOCUS World TV
