What an SUV:The Hyundai Sante Fe

There is so much to share about the reasons the Hyundai Sante Fe is such a winner and we try to do just that in this episode. Simply click the screen above to watch the show and leave comments on what you think.

Here are a few highlighnts from the show you can look for.

The standard powerplant is an uninspiring 191-hp 2.5-liter inline-four; a stouter 277-hp turbo four is optional, and it’s our recommended buy. Both engines are available with front- or all-wheel drive. Hyundai also offers the Santa Fe with a 226-hp hybrid setup and an EPA-rated 36 mpg in the city. The plug-in-hybrid model offers 260 horsepower, a combined 76 MPGe rating, and the ability to travel an estimated 31 miles on electricity alone. With a low base price and a satisfying ride, the spacious 2023 Sante Fe finds itself ranked mid-pack in the world of mid-size SUVs, which is primarily due to an especially snoozy base engine.

The Santa Fe provides a relaxed and stable ride during everyday duties and just enough agility and steering feedback to satisfy those who enjoy driving. Those looking for a more vivid driving experience in their SUV should consider the Chevy Blazer or Honda Passport. When towing is involved, the gas-fed Santa Fe can tug up to 3500 pounds; the hybrid and plug-in hybrid can only handle up to 2000 pounds. Inside the layout is stylish sleek the driver area is easy LED there the dominant protruding infotainment system is there.

The seats are premium. The second row seats are also comfortable and plush like the first row. The center fold down armrest also has places to store two drinks right in front of the past second row seats his places to charge your phone and storage behind the seats.

This is a quality ride with quality materials, styling and functionality now let's take a look at the cargo space. Hit the buttons and the seats flip down. There you have it lots of cargo space for all the extra things you need to carry.

What an awesome road trip what an awesome SUV

The cabin in the 2023 Santa Fe looks and feels luxurious, with only a few lower-quality surfaces present. Additions such as leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel available in upper trims elevate the interior quality of this Hyundai.

The EPA estimates the Santa Fe with the non-turbo four-cylinder will earn up to 25 mpg city and 28 highway. The optional turbocharged version rates as high as 22 mpg city and 28 highway. The hybrid model earned ratings as high as 36 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. For more information about the Santa Fe's fuel economy, visit the EPA's website.

According to US News and World Report, the Santa Fe is a great value. It carries one of the lowest starting prices in the midsize SUV class while also providing a luxe, high-tech interior. Still, the athletic Mazda CX-9 is a better choice for performance-oriented shoppers.

With a starting price of $28,200 for the base SE trim, the 2022 Santa Fe is one of the most affordable midsize SUVs you can buy. The midlevel XRT trim starts at $33,700, and the top-of-the-line Calligraphy trim starts at $42,050.

Models with the upgraded turbocharged engine can tow up to 3,500 pounds, while Santa Fe models with the base engine have a lower towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds.

There are more safety feaures than can be listed here, but its a long and very impressive list. We're pretty satisfied with the Sante Fe Caligraphy and understand why its in hot demand in 2023.
